Roman Equine offers quality horses and ponies for sale, lease, and adoption. We can also market your horse for you.
TRAINING
Roman Equine offers training to both horse and rider in the english discipline, with a focus on hunter/jumper. We offer training from saddle breaking and onwards, and schooling rides at home or at shows. For riders, we offer lessons at your property and coaching at shows.
STANDARDBREDS
Roman Equine specializes in the retraining of the Standardbred racehorse or carthorse to a riding horse. We have much experience breaking Standies to ride, and teaching them to canter, jump, and hack out on trails. We can train Standies for english, western, pleasure, or show.

ABOUT US
Roman Equine is a horse training service based out of central NJ. Head Trainer Brielle Roman has over 10 years experience with horses, from greenies to advanced, english and western. Brielle specializes in starting young horses to saddle and bringing along greenies in English disciplines, and showing at local schooling and rated shows.She also offers instruction and coaching to beginner and intermediate riders.
Brielle is also the Head Trainer for the Standardbred Retirement Foundation and has much experience with the retraining of Standardbred race and cart horses to become riding horses. She has successful, positive methods for introducing the canter to these horses. Brielle often retrains horses that had been abused before they were rescued from the kill pen, and thus has a very gentle, non-intimidating approach. The horse always comes first with Brielle, and she recognizes each horse's individuality and strengths.
